this Web Site
Designed by: Richard Bignell The History page is from a now out of print book by a previous Minister, Rev. Leslie Ivory. The Baptismal data is taken from current church baptismal roles and a document by Rev Griffiths copied in 1838 before sending the original records to London. As you can see from this extract from one page, it can be hard work extracting the data There are twenty pages like this and they get fainter towards the end. Marriage data comes from the Official Registration books, and the pre 1901 records come also from Church Minute books, these mainly only contain names and date, no age or parents. Six minute books pages and Marriage registers. 1860-1988 Burial data includes all those we have records for, if not noted we assume the burial was in our Church Burial Ground although it may not be clear where. Other places named include the Baptist Burial Ground, Parish Church Yard and East Haddon Cemetery. For those researching family history many Gravestone photographs are available, although many inscriptions are now unreadable. Seventeen minute book pages. 1859-2000 Pages are mostly HTML, with ‘active content using PHP and MYSQL for data display.
